Hackathon 2017
I was part of the organizing committee for the Hackathon developed at Oklahoma state University Mixed Reality Lab with the participation of over 30 undergraduate and graduate students of multiple programs all over campus.
CANstruction 2018
I was part of the organizing committee of the CANstruction developed in the college of Human Sciences at Oklahoma State University with the participation of undergraduate students all over campus.
Designathon 2019
I was part of the organizing committee for the Designathon 2019 at Oklahoma State University. This Designathon included three academic undergraduate programs - interior design, apparel design and industrial design - from two universities - Oklahoma State University and Icesi University. Over 40 students worked together to develop wearable dwellings to 6 hypothetical scenarios.
Designathon 2020
I organized the Designathon 2020 between Oklahoma State University and my former university Icesi University at Colombia. Forty-eight students from two design disciplines engaged in a virtual challenge to tackle COVID scenarios through design. They interacted through virtual reality scenarios developed in Mozilla Hubs.
